Official Gmail Blog: Spice up your inbox with colors and themes I am not a theme kind of guy, but if you like to jazz up your gmail account here you go.  I guess you might get used to a theme over time, but I find it really hard to have a page that you spend a lot of time on, to be color intensive.  I have gmail on all the time, so I just don't want that much glare during my work day.  I might be interested in a tailored them that adds a few logos from my favoriteteams, but nothing over the top. I just tried video chat on Google and it was easy and cool. It worked really well. I think this is another important step to improved communication on the web. I really need to get a laptop with an integrated camera and mic. I wonder if this is enough justification to get a new Mac laptop? It will also be interesting to see if you can embed a chat module into other pages like Blogger and Google Sites. Time to experiment.

I added a widget to my blog that would display myTwitterupdates. I am not sure exactly who I am sending this information to, but I thought it might be good to bring it all together in one place. We will see. I think that my adhoc approach to tools and widgets on my blog site has not been too supportive for readers, it has been mostly about me trying out new tools. That has really been what my blog has been about. If you are interested in adding a Widget for Twitter, it was really easy. Go toWidgetBoxand enter your twitter username. Then embed the code into your blog.
