After aprolonged district courtcase ordered Google to take down images that may be offensive to Muslims, Google has agreed to do just that, and has began to censor its search results to remove offensive images.   Facebook and Yahoo, also named in the case, are sticking to their guns and saying that they can’t police the content of their sites as that content is uploaded by users.

Barry Diller’s IAC is reportedly looking to sell half of Vimeo.  Last night PandoDaily’s Erin Griffithreportedthat“two sources familiar with the situation” say that IAC is pairing a spinoff of Vimeo with a $50 million round of funding.  IAC has yet to comment and allegedly a similar rumor several years ago“never came to fruition.”  Still, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
